FlowerGen
Originally, I'd planned something more elaborate than this for ivysly's Toy Jam 1. Unfortunately, my grandfather passed away this week, so I wasn't able to complete the original plan. This took about 10 hours from start to finish, including planning.
The best way to play with this is to experiment, but if you're feeling lazy, here's a quick rundown:
To the left of the canvas, there are sets of RGB sliders. Yellow is for flowers, green for stems, and blue for background.
On the right, there are five options.
Wonk changes how wonky the flowers get. Basically, keeps stems from growing in straight lines. For now, this only has an effect if it's over 50%.
Droop changes how droopy the flowers get. As the stems get "older", they droop more, angling down the canvas.
Split sets the probability of branching.
Life sets the lifespan of stems. Basically, how many pixels they grow through before blooming into a flower.
Finally, size sets the size of the flowers.
I hope you have fun playing with this! I had lots of fun making it.
This one's for you, pop-pop <3
